Cappy v Hulk

Yup thats right another hulk(cant never get to much hulk).Anyhow did this for the Blog at Stockport CC,a little late due to pc problems :(
Pretty happy with it,could do with a little refining i think, but time to move on to the next project.
All done from scratch in CS5.

Captain America

Its that time of the month and heres my Captain America, not much to say really but enjoyed doing this one :)

Marshal Law

Well ..where to start besides what a pain in the *** this was to draw!Never heard of this character before so all new to me.Tried to draw this without using to many line tools etc,so there's a few wobbly lines knocking about on it.This was done from a ref pic from google, had a bit of purple haze goin on so that's how i drew it,probably nothing like it supposed to be but i quite like it.

Barbarian

Next up is my attempt at a barbarian sorta guy, wanted him to look like he's seen something not so good coming his way?Overall not too bad,but more things to improve on methinks..:)

Wingin it!

Had a go at designing my own character(GULP!) not as easy as it looks :)>I seem to get to a point and feel like scrapping it,but i carried on and came up with this, idea was ok but implementing it is another thing!

Venom

After starting this over a week ago and it not going so well i thought I'd try and save it..alas its ok but you can only polish a turd so much!!!...had real trouble with the skin colour/blending :( and the teeth ended up like Ken Dodd's?!! but glad i had a crack at it,lets me know what I'm in for next time!!!

landscape attempt!

Messing around as usual today and did this ...a landscape! haha worth a go :)

.....messed around with it some more..probably leave it like this now before i go snow blind :)

Retro Iron man

Ok heres a second iron man, based on a koto statue sculptured by the cool Erick Sosa...Another character that's not top of my list of personal favourites, but the more you look into the character the more you like them..anyhow enough babble, take a peek and see what you think :)

OOOOH Shiney!!!

Pencils mess about

Heres a few rough sketches i've done ....the iron man ones are just for fun and ain't suit specific ,just doodles :)

The Thing

Messing about today and came up with this :)

Just a quick post, this is for this months SCC entry. This month its Iron man. This one didn't take too long...time to crack on with another version methinks.

Alrighty here's this months attempts so far for Stockport CC,this month was my choice and i went for 'Nightcrawler'..not really a big fan of this character but after looking him up on Google etc he's kinda funky..anyhow check out my images below,No 1 is from a Sideshow statue,2 is from my noggin with a few reference images to help out .Edit I decided to whack out a third effort, after the previous 2 were nice and clean i thought I'd do a quicker rougher looking version :)

Invisible Girl 2

Finished version no 2,tried a bit of a manga style :)

Stockport CC invisible woman

Right here we go,here's a Invisible  woman attempt...tried go for a sexy pose and quite happy with it,over sharpened it in photoshop though which makes it look a bit scratchy when saved as a jpeg ...DOH!

Ok updated this slightly :)

Ok updated number 3.... ha..this could turn into a long post!

HULKMONGOUS!! RAAAH!!

Ok its a big daft hulk :) ..but it was fun to mess about with.Painted from scratch over 2 days in Photoshop.

Ok i updated this a little, made his pea head a touch bigger..think it just fits better now :)

Stockport CC Joker

Latest addition to the Stockport CC,this months pick was the Joker, this one was lucky to make it as i nearly binned it on several occasions :S Bhuna said it had a hint of Stephen Fry!$%! hehe ..can't see it meself!
Beats his Gary Numan Joker though hahaha :D

Stockport CC Dredd Month

Ok this months theme over at http://www.stockportcomixcollective.blogspot.co.uk/ is Judge Dredd. My interpretation is below, looks like old Dreddy is in need of some face cream.

Here's this months entries to the Stockport comic collective, each month 1 person chooses a character to draw and we all try and bring our own individual twist to it.This months was chosen by yours truly..HELLBOY!

You can check mine out below..all the others can be seen here Stockport CC

Heres a Hulk drawing using just the chalk brush in Photoshop..using only one layer only.

Heres an attempt at the rhino using picture textures...1st attempt so not to bad ,a lot of room for improvement though.
